The construction of the San Juan María Vianney Church was featured on September 3, 2019 in an article by ARQA. The church is part of the rural community La Media Legua, approximately two and a half hours from Caracas, in the parish of Tarmas, in the State of Vargas. The article features the views along the northern mountain range of Venezuela, towards the Caribbean Sea, and describes the fundamental role played by its commissioner, Father Abelardo Bazó as well as the construction process which was supported by members of the community.
