El Nacional newspaper published an article on October 3, 2019 written by Grace Lafontant about the selection of architect Elisa Silva as one of 32 finalists at the XI Iberoamerican Biennial of Architecture and Urban Design, held in Asunción Paraguay for the San Juan María Vianney Church project.
The selection of the church as a finalist of the XI BIAU represents an achievement for the community and the people who live in the vicinity of the temple, that transcends the culmination of a project. It is proof that architecture can be built, in non-traditional ways, with limited resources and still obtain a result capable of impacting people, architects and professionals outside the country.
