The complex is situated on the crest of a tall hill toward south east Caracas, and enjoys 360 degree panoramic views including the entire extension of the Avila mountain.  The steep topography challenges the project and becomes its protagonist. Three independent buildings are set into the site´s rocky edge, with discrete separations between them and provide multiple formal readings as the spectator encounters them. From certain angles they appear as a unified single building and from others the fissures create a sense of lightness and permeability.
Access to the complex is paused and stenographic, with a slow processional entry that comes to a climax when a glimpse of the building's ground floors suddenly appears alongside the open fissures that seem to bring the southern hills behind to the foreground.  Common areas for relaxation and recreation as well as a landscaped path for jogging and exercise complement the project. Each apartment opens out toward the northern façade so that the Avila scenery becomes the natural stage of the residence´s interior public areas.
