Community leaders together with the Integration Process Caracas held the Third Gathering of the series "Art, pedagogy and city," on Sunday, March 24, 2019. It was titled “Complete city, overflowing city” inviting people to participate, observe, understand and record spaces, while touring the barrio La Palomera in Baruta.
Six different routes through La Palomera were designed, identifying spaces unique to the barrio's urban morphology, along the way. Guests and locals were asked to find value in the neighborhood´s diversity and complexity. At the end of the walks, everyone shared their findings in a revealing conversation about the barrio´s urban character. The event culminated with a game of bocce among neighbors and visitors.
If you were not able to join the event you can watch the video or read Cheo Carvajal´s article in Prodavinci.
