El Nacional "A Venezuelan among the winners of the Iberoamerican Biennial of Architecture and Urban Design"

The newspaper El Nacional published an article on October 8, 2019 to disseminate the selection of the San Juan María Vianney Church as one of the winners of the XI Iberoamerican Biennial of Architecture and Urbanism (XI BIAU) in the category of built works, held in Asunción Paraguay. In the 2019 edition, 997 Latin American projects were presented, of which 17 were winners. The works were built in countries such as Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Ecuador, Mexico, Paraguay, Peru, Portugal, Uruguay and Venezuela.

ARQA "San Juan María Vianney Church published"

The construction of the San Juan María Vianney Church was featured on September 3, 2019 in an article by ARQA. The church is part of the rural community La Media Legua, approximately two and a half hours from Caracas, in the parish of Tarmas, in the State of Vargas. The article features the views along the northern mountain range of Venezuela, towards the Caribbean Sea, and describes the fundamental role played by its commissioner, Father Abelardo Bazó as well as the construction process which was supported by members of the community.

Metropolis online magazine published an article on the design and construction process of the San Juan María Vianney Church in Media Legua by Enlace Arquitectura, posted August 2, 2019, and authored by Vicky Sue. It describes how the building uses readily available materials to create a structure that responds to the slope of the landscape and plays with light through openings in common concrete blocks.
