Urban Next “Juan Bobo Creek: Bringing Community Youth Together”

This article is an exerpt from the publication Pure Space: expanding the public sphere through public space transfromations in Latin American spontanoues settlements.
The Juan Bobo creek is part of Comuna 2, a densely populated urban district on the northeastern slopes of Medellin. 

As space for new homes ran out and demand for housing continued to increase, people built precarious structures directly over the creek, exposing themselves to the risk of floods and landslides.

El Nacional "A Venezuelan among the winners of the Iberoamerican Biennial of Architecture and Urban Design"

The newspaper El Nacional published an article on October 8, 2019 to disseminate the selection of the San Juan María Vianney Church as one of the winners of the XI Iberoamerican Biennial of Architecture and Urbanism (XI BIAU) in the category of built works, held in Asunción Paraguay. In the 2019 edition, 997 Latin American projects were presented, of which 17 were winners. The works were built in countries such as Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Ecuador, Mexico, Paraguay, Peru, Portugal, Uruguay and Venezuela.
